Get recognized by the Indian Government
In order to be a valid travel agent in India, the person must get recognition from the Ministry of Tourism. Hokis Solutions will help you get this recognition, and it is initially valid for 5 years. A preliminary report and an inspection report must be submitted and reviewed by the regional director of the concerned state and 5 member TAAI team before you are awarded this recognition. Following the initial period, there is a need to raise the request for getting the recognition renewed or extended.
After the request is made, the concerned one TAAI member and a regional director will evaluate and review the documents and then extend the recognition period for another 5 years. These submitted documents will also be reviewed by the Travel Trade division before processing the renewal. The whole process takes around 60 working days to complete.

Following are the conditions needs to be fulfilled:
- 1) The applicant must submit the application for recognition in the prescribed format and he or she must attach the duplicate form alongside the documents.
- 2) The applicant must have balance sheets (Audited) and a certificate regarding its capital investments from a chartered accountant.
- 3) The applicant must have a clean, neat and well-maintained office space in India occupying in between 100 to 150 sq. ft and it should be approximately 1000 meters above sea level.
